These served a dispensational purpose. In Acts 10, God showed Peter unclean animals and commanded him to eat. ✂ Right Division The primary lesson was about Gentiles being received — verse 28. But it also signals the end of food law distinctions. 1 Timothy 4:4-5 — every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving. ✦ Application You are free from dietary laws. Eat with thanksgiving. Honor God with your body through wise choices — but not by imposing Levitical food categories that have been graciously set aside in this age of grace.
