Not Christ for you only — though that is gloriously true. Not Christ with you — though His presence never departs. Christ IN you — the risen, glorified, omnipotent Son of God dwelling within the ordinary believer as the guarantee of ultimate glory. Colossians 1:25-27 provides the context: Paul describes his stewardship of the word of God to 'fulfil' it — to bring it to its completion, its full disclosure. The mystery hidden from ages and from generations but NOW made manifest to the saints is the mystery Paul is uniquely commissioned to proclaim.
