Christ Our High Priest – Better Than the Levitical Priesthood | Hebrews 7:25 KJV

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

— Hebrews 7:25 KJV

The Levitical priests served daily — offering sacrifices that could never finally take away sin. They died and were replaced. Their work was never finished. But Christ — our High Priest after the order of Melchizedek — offered one sacrifice forever and sat down — Hebrews 10:12.

✂ Right Division

He ever liveth to make intercession for you. Right now, Jesus is at the Father's right hand, interceding by name for you. Not a rotating priesthood, not a human intermediary — the eternal Son of God, presenting His own blood as the permanent basis of your access.

✦ Application

You need no human priest to access God. You have the greatest High Priest — eternal, perfect, alive, interceding for you this moment. Come boldly to the throne of grace — Hebrews 4:16. He invites you.
