Complete in Christ – Colossians 2:10 | KJV Right Division

Week 1 · Day 7-2 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.”

— Colossians 2:10 KJV

Complete. Not partially complete. Not complete-when-you-mature. Complete now. In Him. Every spiritual blessing is already yours — Ephesians 1:3. Every need is met in Christ — Philippians 4:19. You lack nothing in your standing before God because you are in Christ, and Christ is complete.

✂ Right Division

The Colossians were told they needed additional experiences, angel worship, philosophy, dietary laws to be complete. Paul's answer cuts through it all: ye are complete in Him. Nothing can be added to what Christ has already made you. This is the mystery in full expression.

✦ Application

Stop striving for spiritual completeness through religious effort. You are already complete in Christ. Walk in that completeness today. Let it silence the voices that say you need more, do more, be more.

1 Matthew 13:10–11 KJV And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 2 John 14:29 KJV And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 3 Isaiah 46:9–10 KJV Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there...

Dead to the Law – Married to the Risen Christ | Romans 7:4 KJV

Week 2 · Day 12-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead.” — Romans 7:4 KJV Death breaks the Law's hold. A widow is freed from the law of her husband by his death. Paul applies the same principle: we died with Christ — Galatians 2:20 — and that death severed our legal relationship to the Law. We are no longer married to the Law. We are married to the risen Christ. ✂ Right Division The purpose of this new marriage: that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Not the fruit of legal compliance under threat of condemnation, but the fruit of a loving relationship with the risen Christ. The Spirit produces this fruit naturally — Galatians 5:22-23. ✦ Application You are not married to the Law. You are united to the risen Christ. Let that relationship produce fruit in your life — naturally, freely, joyfu...
