Dispensations – God's Different Administrations Through History | Ephesians 1:10 KJV

Week 1 · Day 6-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth.”

— Ephesians 1:10 KJV

Dispensation — the Greek oikonomia — means a stewardship or administration. God has administered His relationship with mankind differently in different ages: Innocence, Conscience, Human Government, Promise, Law, Grace, Kingdom. Each has its own rules and revelation.

✂ Right Division

We live in the dispensation of Grace — the most favorable period in all of human history to be alive as a believer. No sacrifices, no temple, no priestly intermediary. Direct access to God through Christ by the indwelling Spirit. Recognize the privilege of your age.

✦ Application

Knowing your dispensation clarifies everything. You are not Abraham waiting for a promise, or Israel under the Law, or a Tribulation saint enduring to the end. You are a member of the Body of Christ in the age of grace. Live like it.
