Ephesians 1 – Every Spiritual Blessing Already Yours | KJV Right Division

Week 3 · Day 21-3 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

— Ephesians 1:3 KJV

Hath blessed — past tense, completed action. All spiritual blessings — not some. In heavenly places — not earthly, not conditional on circumstances. In Christ — secured in Him, inseparable from Him. This is your starting point, not your destination.

✂ Right Division

Paul then lists them: chosen before the foundation of the world (v.4), predestined unto adoption (v.5), accepted in the Beloved (v.6), redeemed through His blood (v.7), sealed with the Holy Spirit (v.13). Every one is already yours. Given. Sealed. Settled.

✦ Application

You are already blessed with everything God has to give in Christ. Not striving toward it — standing in it. Let that reality of abundance, not scarcity, be the foundation of how you approach every moment of this day.

1 Matthew 13:10–11 KJV And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 2 John 14:29 KJV And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 3 Isaiah 46:9–10 KJV Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there...

Dead to the Law – Married to the Risen Christ | Romans 7:4 KJV

Week 2 · Day 12-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead.” — Romans 7:4 KJV Death breaks the Law's hold. A widow is freed from the law of her husband by his death. Paul applies the same principle: we died with Christ — Galatians 2:20 — and that death severed our legal relationship to the Law. We are no longer married to the Law. We are married to the risen Christ. ✂ Right Division The purpose of this new marriage: that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Not the fruit of legal compliance under threat of condemnation, but the fruit of a loving relationship with the risen Christ. The Spirit produces this fruit naturally — Galatians 5:22-23. ✦ Application You are not married to the Law. You are united to the risen Christ. Let that relationship produce fruit in your life — naturally, freely, joyfu...
