Ministry of Condemnation vs Ministry of Righteousness | 2 Corinthians 3 KJV

Week 2 · Day 11-2 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.”

— 2 Corinthians 3:9 KJV

Paul calls the Law the ministration of condemnation and the ministration of death. Not because the Law is evil — it is holy and just and good — Romans 7:12 — but because it condemns all who fall short. Applied to sinners, the Law produces death.

✂ Right Division

The Gospel — the ministration of righteousness — exceeds the Law in glory beyond comparison. The Law wrote on stone; the Spirit writes on hearts. The Law was temporary; the Spirit's ministry is permanent. Law produced fear; grace produces transformation from the inside out.

✦ Application

You serve in the ministry of righteousness — sharing news that exceeds every earthly announcement. Share the Gospel of grace this week and watch God transform a life through the most glorious ministry in history.
