One Sacrifice for Sins Forever – It Is Finished | Hebrews 10:12 KJV
“But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.”
— Hebrews 10:12 KJVOne sacrifice. For sins. For ever. Sat down. Every word is loaded with grace. The Levitical priests never sat — no chairs in the tabernacle — because their work was never complete. But Christ sat down. His work is finished. One sacrifice accomplishes what a million animal offerings never could.
For ever — not for a season, not until you sin again, not until the next confession. For ever. Your sins — past, present, and future — were all future when Christ died. He bore them all, once, for ever. This is the eternal Gospel of grace.
The sacrifice is made. The work is done. The Priest is seated. Your sins are forgiven — for ever. Rest in that finished work today, tomorrow, and into eternity. It cannot be undone. It is settled in heaven.
