Post #111: Sound Words and Pure Doctrine | KJV Right Division (Week 4)
Post 111 · Sowing and Reaping in the Grace Age (Gal 6:7-9)
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." — Galatians 6:7-9 (KJV)
Dispensation: Grace Age — sowing and reaping is not a legal principle but a natural law of God's creation that operates regardless of dispensation.
Key: Two fields, two harvests: sow to the flesh → corruption; sow to the Spirit → everlasting life. This is not salvation by works — it is the natural outcome of what we invest in.
Galatians 6:7-9 addresses a practical question that arises in the Grace Age: if we are not under law, do our choices have consequences? Paul's answer is unequivocal: 'God is not mocked.' The law of sowing and reaping is not nullified by grace — it is a creation principle built into the fabric of reality. Sow to the flesh (time, energy, thought, money invested in the old nature) and you reap corruption — broken relationships, diminished character, spiritual dullness. Sow to the Spirit (invest in prayer, the Word, godly relationships, service) and you reap life everlasting — deepening character, increasing fruitfulness, growing intimacy with God. This is not about salvation (already settled in Christ) but about the quality and fruitfulness of a Grace-Age life. Don't weary of well-doing — the harvest is coming.
