Post #116: Renewing the Spirit of Your Mind | KJV Right Division (Week 5)
Post 116 · Day 30-1: Philippians 4:6-7 – Prayer and Anxiety in Grace
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
Who? Church Age saints — Paul writing from prison, demonstrating what he teaches.
Dispensation: Grace Age — access to God through Christ is direct and unrestricted.
Key Word: "Keep" — a military term; God's peace stands guard over our minds.

"Be careful for nothing" means "be anxious about nothing." The Grace-Age believer has direct access to God in prayer at any moment. The threefold prescription — prayer (general), supplication (specific), thanksgiving (always) — releases the inexplicable peace of God. This peace does not come from understanding the situation but from trusting the God who holds it.
Application: Write down your top three anxieties today. Then pray over each one specifically, ending each with genuine thanksgiving for God's past faithfulness. Notice what happens to your mental and emotional state as you do.
