"But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference." — Romans 3:21-22 (KJV)

Who? All humanity — Jew and Gentile — who stand equally condemned and equally reached by the righteousness of God in Christ.
Dispensation: Grace Age — 'but now' signals the dispensational shift from law-righteousness to grace-righteousness.
Key: "But now" — a hinge phrase marking the transition from condemnation under law to justification by grace through faith.

Romans 3:21 is one of the great hinge-points of Scripture. The first three chapters establish universal condemnation — Gentiles by nature, Jews by law, all guilty before God. Then comes the dispensational pivot: 'But now...' A new righteousness has been revealed — not from law-keeping but through faith in Jesus Christ. It is equally available to Jew and Gentile ('no difference'), fully paid for by Christ's propitiatory sacrifice, and received by faith alone. This is the Grace Age in a single paragraph: man's total failure met by God's total provision.

Application: Read Romans 3:9-26 as one unit. Notice the 'all have sinned' verdict (v.23) and the 'freely justified' gift (v.24). Between condemnation and justification stands only the cross. Write a one-paragraph summary of what God has done and what we contribute (hint: nothing).
