Post #150: Angels and Their Ministry Across Ages | KJV Right Division (Week 6)

Post 150 · Day 39-1: Angels and Their Ministry Across Ages

"Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" — Hebrews 1:14 (KJV)
Angels in Grace Age: Ministering spirits — serving, not mediating. Not to be worshipped (Col 2:18).
Angels in Tribulation: Agents of divine judgment — releasing the seals, trumpets, bowls (Rev 6-16).
Angels in Millennium: Present in the kingdom, serving Christ's reign.

Angels are real, personal beings — not halos-and-harps symbols. They minister to believers, protect, deliver messages, and execute divine judgment. In the Grace Age, we are told we may entertain angels unknowingly (Heb 13:2) and that angels desire to look into the Gospel mysteries (1 Pet 1:12). Importantly, no angel is ever to be prayed to or worshipped — they serve God, not us. Our intercessor is Christ alone.

Application: Rightly acknowledge God's use of angelic ministry with thanksgiving — but keep your worship and prayer directed to God alone. Examine whether any angelic fascination has crossed into veneration.

Prayer: Lord of angel armies, thank You for Your invisible ministers who serve Your heirs of salvation. May all worship remain Yours alone. Amen.
