Post 156 · Day 41-1: Resurrection Bodies – Different Orders
"But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming." — 1 Corinthians 15:23 (KJV)
Order 1: Christ — firstfruits of resurrection (already accomplished).
Order 2: Church Age saints at the Rapture (1 Cor 15:51-52; 1 Thess 4:16).
Order 3: Old Testament and Tribulation saints at the Second Coming (Dan 12:2; Rev 20:4).
Order 4: Unsaved dead at the Great White Throne (Rev 20:13).
Resurrection is not a single event but a series of events, each in its proper dispensational order. The resurrection body is described in 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 as incorruptible, glorious, powerful, and spiritual (pneumatikos — Spirit-empowered, not immaterial). It is a real body — as real as Christ's resurrection body, which ate fish (Luke 24:42-43) and was touched (John 20:27). Our eternal state is embodied, not ghostly.
Application: The resurrection body means your eternal state is physical and glorious. Live now in a way that honors the body — it is destined for glory, not dissolution.
