Post #158: The Marriage Supper of the Lamb | KJV Right Division (Week 6)

Post 158 · Day 41-3: The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

"And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God." — Revelation 19:9 (KJV)
Bride: The Church — Body and Bride of Christ, made ready during the Bema evaluation (Rev 19:7-8).
Timing: In heaven, just before Christ's Second Coming to earth (Rev 19:11-16).
Guests: Old Testament and Tribulation saints called to attend — distinct from the Bride.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is the great celebration in heaven between the Rapture and the Second Coming. The Bride (Church) has been evaluated at the Bema, clothed in fine linen representing "the righteousness of saints" (v. 8). This is the consummation of the relationship between Christ and His Church — a heavenly wedding feast before the King returns to earth to reign. Every believer in the Grace Age is part of the Bride, prepared by grace and adorned with righteous deeds.

Application: Are you living as a Bride preparing for her wedding day? The "fine linen" is righteous acts woven together in this age. What deeds are you weaving into your bridal garment right now?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we are Your Bride. Make us ready — clothed in righteous deeds, waiting with oil in our lamps. Amen.
