Post #165: The Role of Israel in the Millennium | KJV Right Division (Week 6)
Post 165 · Day 42-7: The Role of Israel in the Millennium
"And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles." — Zechariah 14:16 (KJV)
Israel's Role: The head nation of the Millennium (Deut 28:13), the priestly nation through whom God's blessing flows to the Gentiles.
Messiah's Reign: From Jerusalem, on the throne of David (Luke 1:32-33).
Church's Role: Reigning with Christ in glorified bodies — distinct from Israel's earthly, national role.
Messiah's Reign: From Jerusalem, on the throne of David (Luke 1:32-33).
Church's Role: Reigning with Christ in glorified bodies — distinct from Israel's earthly, national role.
In the Millennium, God fulfills every covenant made with Israel — Abrahamic (land), Davidic (throne), New Covenant (national salvation, Jer 31:31-34). Israel, saved and restored, will be the premier nation, with Gentile nations streaming to Jerusalem annually (Zech 14:16). The Church reigns with Christ above — our position is heavenly, not earthly. Two peoples, one King, one kingdom, two distinct roles.
Application: Trace the Abrahamic, Davidic, and New Covenants through Scripture. See how each covenant is literally fulfilled in the Millennium. Let this build your confidence in the literal reliability of God's promises.
