Post 20 · The Second Coming – Different Event Entirely

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns." — Revelation 19:11-12 (KJV)

Who? John on Patmos, receiving the vision of Christ's return to earth at the end of the Tribulation to establish His Kingdom.
Dispensation: Future — the Second Coming ends the Tribulation and inaugurates the Millennial Kingdom for Israel.
Key: Rapture: Christ comes FOR His saints in the air. Second Coming: Christ comes WITH His saints to the earth. Two events, separated by seven years.

The Second Coming is not the Rapture. At the Rapture, Christ descends to the air, catches up the Body of Christ, and returns to heaven. At the Second Coming (Revelation 19), He comes all the way to the earth, His feet touch the Mount of Olives (Zech 14:4), He defeats the Antichrist and his armies, and He establishes His Millennial throne. His saints come WITH Him (Zech 14:5; Col 3:4). The distinction matters enormously for prophecy: confusing the two leads to placing the Church in the Tribulation and robbing Israel of her distinct program in the last days.

Application: Compare 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (Rapture) with Revelation 19:11-16 (Second Coming) point by point: location (air vs. earth), direction (caught up vs. coming down), purpose (removal vs. judgment), accompaniment (saints caught up vs. saints returning). Build a clear side-by-side chart.
