Post #205: Work as Ministry in the Grace Age | KJV Right Division (Week 8)
Post 205 · Day 52-3: Financial Stewardship in Grace
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." — 1 Timothy 6:6-7 (KJV)
Grace Stewardship Principles: Everything belongs to God (Ps 24:1); we are managers, not owners. Contentment is the antidote to covetousness. Generosity is the overflow of grace received.
Warning: "The love of money is the root of all evil" (1 Tim 6:10) — not money itself, but its idolatry.
Warning: "The love of money is the root of all evil" (1 Tim 6:10) — not money itself, but its idolatry.
The Grace Age believer manages wealth (at whatever level) as a steward — not as an owner. "It is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful" (1 Cor 4:2). Financial faithfulness includes: generous giving, wise spending, debt avoidance, saving, and contentment. Paul's testimony is the model: "I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content" (Phil 4:11). Wealth is a tool, not a treasure; a trust, not a trophy.
Application: Review your last month's financial statements as a stewardship audit. Does your spending reflect your stated values? Is generosity proportional to your income? Where is your treasure — and therefore your heart (Matt 6:21)?

Prayer: Lord, we hold everything loosely — it all belongs to You. Make us faithful stewards of what You have entrusted to us for Your glory. Amen.
