Post #219: Gratitude as a Grace Age Discipline | KJV Right Division (Week 8)
Post 219 · Day 56-4: Mentoring Younger Believers
"The aged women likewise... That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children." — Titus 2:3-4 (KJV)
Titus 2 Pattern: Older men → younger men; older women → younger women. Generational investment in practical, life-on-life discipleship.
Paul's Pattern: 2 Timothy 2:2 — four generations of faithful investment.
Paul's Pattern: 2 Timothy 2:2 — four generations of faithful investment.
The Grace Age Church is to be a multigenerational community where the older invest in the younger — not just in formal Bible classes, but in life. Titus 2 describes older women teaching younger women not in lecture format but in relationship — "how to love their husbands, love their children." This is kitchen-table, life-as-curriculum discipleship. No seminary degree required — only maturity, faithfulness, and willingness to share your life.
Application: If you are a mature believer — identify one younger believer to invest in intentionally. If you are a younger believer — seek out a mature mentor and ask them to invest in you. The Church grows when generations connect.

Prayer: Lord, break down the generational silos in Your Church. Let the older pour into the younger, and let the younger honor the older. Amen.
