Post #220: Giving Thanks in All Things | KJV Right Division (Week 8)
Post 220 · Day 56-5: Missions and the Great Commission Today
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." — Acts 1:8 (KJV)
Right Division Note: Acts 1:8 is Christ's commission to the Eleven — centrifugal (Jerusalem outward); Paul's commission is centripetal (Gentile world toward the Gospel).
Grace Age Missions: Romans 1:16 — "to everyone that believeth." The Gospel is to be proclaimed to all peoples in this dispensation (Rom 10:14-15) — urgently, personally, and globally.
Grace Age Missions: Romans 1:16 — "to everyone that believeth." The Gospel is to be proclaimed to all peoples in this dispensation (Rom 10:14-15) — urgently, personally, and globally.
The Grace Age Church has a global mandate: the Gospel of grace is for "whosoever will" (Rev 22:17) — every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. Paul's missionary strategy — planting reproducing local churches in key cities — remains the most effective model for global Gospel advance. Whether your Jerusalem is your neighborhood or your uttermost part is a unreached people group overseas, the call to witness is universal and urgent.
Application: Map your spheres of influence: local (neighborhood, workplace), regional (city), national, and global. Identify one person or ministry in each sphere that you can pray for and support. Get specific — names, needs, amounts.
