Post 222 · Day 56-7: Online Ministry and Digital Witness
"And they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word." — Acts 8:4 (KJV)
Context: Persecution scattered the Jerusalem church — they preached wherever they went. The medium changed; the message did not.
Digital Age Application: Social media, YouTube, podcasts, and blogs are modern equivalents of "everywhere" — every platform is a field for the Gospel.
Digital Age Application: Social media, YouTube, podcasts, and blogs are modern equivalents of "everywhere" — every platform is a field for the Gospel.
The Grace Age has never had a greater broadcasting capacity than right now. The same message that Paul preached in the synagogues of Asia Minor can now reach millions instantly. Digital ministry is not a lesser form of ministry — it is ministry at unprecedented scale. The risks are real: pride, popularity-seeking, doctrinal drift for views. But the opportunity is staggering. Use your platform — however small — for the rightly divided Word of God.
Application: How can you use your current digital presence — even a personal social media account — to share the Gospel, a Scripture, or a word of encouragement this week? Start where you are. "They that were scattered went everywhere preaching."
