Post #233: Paul: A Chosen Vessel to the Gentiles | KJV Right Division (Week 9)
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
Week 9 – Ministry & Missions in the Grace Age
Post 233 · Day 57-1: Acts 9:15 – Paul: A Chosen Vessel to the Gentiles
“He is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.” — Acts 9:15 KJV
Before Paul ever preached a word, God declared him a chosen vessel. The instrument was selected before the ministry began. God does not recruit volunteers and then equip them — He chooses His instruments and fashions them for the work.
Right Division: Right Division: Paul's apostleship to the Gentiles is not a continuation of the Twelve's ministry to Israel. Jesus sent the Twelve to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matthew 10:5-6). Paul was specifically separated to carry the name of Christ to Gentiles, kings, and Israel — in that order. This is the dispensational shift: from a Kingdom program centered on Israel to a Mystery program centered on the Body of Christ, administered through Paul's unique apostleship.
