Post #239: Preaching the Unsearchable Riches of Christ | KJV Right Division (Week 9)
Post 239 · Day 58-3: Ephesians 3:8 – Preaching the Unsearchable Riches of Christ
“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.” — Ephesians 3:8 KJV
Paul calls himself 'less than the least of all saints' — not false modesty, but genuine humility born of knowing he once persecuted the church. The grace given to him is not a reward but an undeserved commission. And what he preaches are riches — not rules, not rituals, but the inexhaustible wealth of Christ.
Right Division: Right Division: 'Unsearchable riches' — the Greek means untraceable, beyond tracking. These are the riches of the grace age: redemption, forgiveness, eternal life, sonship, co-heirship with Christ, the indwelling Spirit, heavenly citizenship. None of these were traced in the Old Testament prophets. They were hidden in God and revealed to Paul for the first time. This is what makes the grace message so astonishing — it was not available before.
