Post #244: The Mystery Now Made Manifest | KJV Right Division (Week 9)
Post 244 · Day 59-4: Romans 16:25-26 – The Mystery Now Made Manifest
Who This Is For: Grace-age believers in the Body of Christ seeking to understand and live Paul's Gospel rightly divided.
“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest.” — Romans 16:25-26 KJV
This is the closing doxology of Romans — and it is all about the mystery. God's power to establish believers is tied directly to Paul's Gospel and the revelation of the mystery that was hidden from eternity past and is now made manifest. The establishment of saints comes through doctrine, not just devotion.
Right Division: Right Division: 'Kept secret since the world began' — this demolishes the idea that the mystery was merely obscure in the Old Testament. It was secret — completely hidden. 'But NOW is made manifest' — it is a new disclosure, a new revelation appropriate to the new dispensation. This is the hinge of all Scripture. On one side: prophecy, Kingdom, Israel. On the other: mystery, Body of Christ, grace age.
Application: Share Romans 16:25-26 with a fellow believer and explain what 'the mystery' means. See if they can articulate it. This is a great diagnostic — if the mystery is unclear to a Christian, they have not yet been taught right division, and you have a wonderful opportunity to share it.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your Word rightly divided. Help us to study, understand, and live what You have revealed through the Apostle Paul for this age of grace. Give us boldness to share and faithfulness to guard what has been committed to our trust. In Christ's name. Amen.
