Post #250: The Gospel Committed to Paul's Trust | KJV Right Division (Week 9)

Post 250 · Day 61-2: Titus 1:3 – The Gospel Committed to Paul's Trust

Who This Is For: Grace-age believers in the Body of Christ seeking to understand and live Paul's Gospel rightly divided.
“But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour.” — Titus 1:3 KJV

The Gospel's timing is divine — 'in due times.' The mystery was kept hidden until the appointed moment of disclosure. And then it was committed specifically to Paul. This is not bureaucratic language — it is the solemn language of stewardship. The Gospel is a trust deposited in Paul's hands for this age.

Right Division: Right Division: 'In due times' points to dispensational timing. God revealed different things at different times according to His sovereign schedule. The Kingdom Gospel was timely for Israel in the Gospels and early Acts. The mystery Gospel — grace, the Body of Christ, Gentile inclusion on equal footing — was timely for Paul's dispensation onward. We live in Paul's due time. His message is current for our age.

Application: Reflect today on the privilege of living in the due time of the mystery's full disclosure. You have access to truth that patriarchs and prophets did not possess — the full revelation of Paul's epistles, the indwelling Spirit, the hope of glory. Give thanks for the timing of your salvation.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your Word rightly divided. Help us to study, understand, and live what You have revealed through the Apostle Paul for this age of grace. Give us boldness to share and faithfulness to guard what has been committed to our trust. In Christ's name. Amen.
