Post 266 · Day 65-2: Revelation 6:1 – The Seal Judgments Begin

Who This Is For: Grace-age believers in the Body of Christ seeking to understand prophecy rightly divided from Paul's epistles and the whole counsel of God.

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.” — Revelation 6:1 KJV

Revelation 6 opens the Tribulation judgments. The Lamb opens the seals, and unprecedented judgment falls upon the earth. These are not random catastrophes but the wrath of God poured out upon a Christ-rejecting world, leading up to the Second Coming of Christ to judge and reign.

Right Division: Right Division: Revelation is Israel's prophetic book — it belongs primarily to the Kingdom program, not the Body of Christ mystery program. The twenty-four elders in Revelation 4-5 may represent raptured church-age believers already in heaven before the seals open. Right division places the Tribulation squarely in the prophetic program for Israel and the nations — distinct from Paul's epistles which address the Body of Christ. Grace-age believers study Revelation but do not interpret it through the lens of the mystery.

Application: Read Revelation 6 today not with fear but with understanding. These judgments show the severity of God's wrath against sin — which is exactly what the cross absorbed for you. The same God who judges with seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments bore those judgments Himself at Calvary for all who believe. Marvel at the grace that removed you from wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

Prayer: Lord, open our eyes to behold wondrous things out of Thy law and prophecy. Give us wisdom to rightly divide what belongs to Israel and what belongs to the Body of Christ, that we may live with clarity and confidence in this age of grace. In Christ's name. Amen.
