Post 284 · Day 69-4: Revelation 21:1-3 – New Heaven, New Earth, New Jerusalem

Who This Is For: Grace-age believers in the Body of Christ seeking to understand prophecy rightly divided from Paul's epistles and the whole counsel of God.

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven.” — Revelation 21:1-2 KJV

The ultimate destination: new heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem. This is beyond the Millennium — it is the eternal state. God dwells with men. No more sea, no more separation. 'He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them' (verse 3).

Right Division: Right Division: Revelation 21-22 describes the eternal state — beyond all dispensations, beyond all prophetic programs. Both Israel (New Jerusalem as their eternal home on the new earth) and the Body of Christ (heavenly citizens in a renewed cosmos) share in eternal glory. The distinctions between dispensations ultimately converge in the eternal state where God is all and in all. Right division serves its purpose in time; in eternity, all God's people are one in Him.

Application: Revelation 21 is your ultimate destination. New heaven, new earth — a completely remade creation. 'And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes' (verse 4). Whatever grief you carry today, this is the end of the story: no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain. Live today with that ending in view. It changes everything.

Prayer: Lord, open our eyes to behold wondrous things out of Thy law and prophecy. Give us wisdom to rightly divide what belongs to Israel and what belongs to the Body of Christ, that we may live with clarity and confidence in this age of grace. In Christ's name. Amen.
