Post 286 · Day 70-2: Isaiah 11:6 – The Wolf Also Shall Dwell With the Lamb

Who This Is For: Grace-age believers in the Body of Christ seeking to understand prophecy rightly divided from Paul's epistles and the whole counsel of God.
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.” — Isaiah 11:6 KJV

The Millennium restores creation's original harmony. Predator and prey coexist. A little child leads dangerous animals without fear. The curse on creation is lifted; the creation groaning (Romans 8:22) is silenced in the Kingdom's restoration. This is literal, not merely metaphorical.

Right Division: Right Division: Isaiah 11 belongs to Israel's prophetic program — the peaceful Kingdom age under the Messiah's reign. Romans 8:19-22 confirms that creation itself awaits the revelation of the sons of God — this creation renewal is connected to the Body of Christ's glorification (verse 23). Both programs converge in the Kingdom: Israel's earthly restoration and the Body of Christ's heavenly glorification happen simultaneously at the Second Coming and Rapture's fulfillment.

Application: Creation's suffering mirrors your own groaning for redemption (Romans 8:23). Both you and creation are waiting for the same event. When you see the natural world in its beauty and its brokenness, remember: it is waiting for you. Your glorification is its liberation. Live as a steward of creation today, knowing that its ultimate restoration is tied to yours.
Prayer: Lord, open our eyes to behold wondrous things out of Thy law and prophecy. Give us wisdom to rightly divide what belongs to Israel and what belongs to the Body of Christ, that we may live with clarity and confidence in this age of grace. In Christ's name. Amen.
