Post 318 · Day 78-2: Colossians 1:10 – Walk Worthy, Fruitful in Every Good Work

Who This Is For: Grace-age believers in the Body of Christ who desire to finish strong, endure faithfully, and hear "Well done" at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.” — Colossians 1:10 KJV

Four expressions of the worthy walk: full pleasing to God, fruitfulness in every good work, increase in knowledge of God, and strengthening with all power (verse 11). This is the grace-age life in full expression — not just avoiding sin but actively bearing fruit, growing in knowledge, and being empowered for endurance.

Right Division: Right Division: 'Walk worthy of the Lord' is the grace-age ethical imperative. Not 'walk worthy of the Law' or 'walk worthy of the Kingdom's standards' but of the Lord — Christ Himself. The standard is a Person, not a code. As you come to know Christ more deeply (increasing in knowledge), your walk naturally reflects Him more accurately. Sanctification in the grace age is relational and revelational: know Him more, walk like Him more.

Application: Do a self-assessment against Colossians 1:10: Am I fully pleasing God in my current priorities? Am I bearing fruit in good works? Am I increasing in the knowledge of God through Scripture? Identify the weakest area and make one concrete change this week. Growth is not accidental — it is the result of intentional cooperation with the Spirit.
Prayer: Lord, let us not be weary in well doing. Strengthen us by Your Spirit in the inner man. Let us run with patience the race set before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Help us to finish strong — not by our strength but by Yours. In Christ's name. Amen.
