Post #325: Your Labour Is Not in Vain | KJV Right Division (Week 12)
Post 325 · Day 80-1: 1 Corinthians 15:58 – Your Labour Is Not in Vain
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV
The resurrection chapter ends with a practical exhortation: because Christ is risen and we shall be raised, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding. The resurrection makes every act of faithfulness permanent. Nothing done in the Lord is lost — it is recorded, rewarded, and eternally significant.
Right Division: Right Division: 'Not in vain in the Lord' is the grace-age guarantee of significance. Under human systems, significance depends on influence, results, recognition, and scale. In grace, the smallest act done in the Lord is not vain — it is weighty with eternal significance. The widow's mite, the cup of cold water, the private prayer, the faithfully kept word — in the Lord, none of it is lost. The Judgment Seat of Christ will reveal what was truly significant.
