Post #335: Do All to the Glory of God | KJV Right Division (Week 12)
Post 335 · Day 82-3: 1 Corinthians 10:31 – Do All to the Glory of God
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV
All of life — even eating and drinking — is an opportunity for God's glory. The grace-age believer does not divide life into sacred and secular. Every moment, every activity, every relationship is a theater for God's glory. Not by adding religious performance to secular life but by transforming the posture of the whole life.
Right Division: Right Division: 'Do all to the glory of God' is the grace-age life principle — not the Law's list of permitted and forbidden activities but the Spirit's transformation of all activities. Under Law, the distinctions were elaborate: clean and unclean, Sabbath and workday, holy and profane. In grace, the whole life is offered as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1) — making every moment potentially glorious. This is the freedom of grace: not freedom to sin but freedom to glorify God in everything.
