Post #341: We Must All Appear Before the Judgment Seat | KJV Right Division (Week 12)

Post 341 · Day 84-1: 2 Corinthians 5:10 – We Must All Appear Before the Judgment Seat

Who This Is For: Grace-age believers in the Body of Christ who desire to finish strong, endure faithfully, and hear "Well done" at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” — 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV

Every grace-age believer will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ — bema — not the Great White Throne (Revelation 20, for unbelievers) but Christ's evaluation seat for His own. Every work done in the body will be evaluated: good works that stand, works that do not. This is accountability without condemnation.

Right Division: Right Division: The Judgment Seat of Christ is the grace-age believer's accountability moment — separate from the Great White Throne Judgment of unbelievers (Revelation 20:11-15). Salvation is not at issue at the bema — only works, stewardship, faithfulness. 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 describes the process: gold, silver, precious stones survive; wood, hay, stubble burn. The believer is saved regardless, but rewards differ. Right division keeps these two judgments properly distinct.

Application: Live today as if tomorrow is the bema. Not with anxiety — you are saved, not condemned. But with intentionality: what am I building today — gold or hay? What am I saying — truth or pleasing words? What am I doing — for God's glory or my own? The bema is coming. Build accordingly.
Prayer: Lord, let us not be weary in well doing. Strengthen us by Your Spirit in the inner man. Let us run with patience the race set before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Help us to finish strong — not by our strength but by Yours. In Christ's name. Amen.
