Post #46: Spiritual Blessings in Heavenly Places | KJV Right Division (Week 2)

Post 46 · Access to God in the Grace Age (Eph 3:12)

"In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him." — Ephesians 3:12 (KJV)
Who? Every member of the Body of Christ — 'we have' is inclusive of all who are in Christ.
Dispensation: Grace Age — direct, confident, bold access to God is a Grace-Age privilege; no mediating priest, no veil, no appointed time required.
Key: Boldness (παρρησία) = the right to speak freely, without fear of rejection. Access (προσαγωγή) = the act of being brought near. Both are ours in Christ.

Under the Law, access to God was restricted: only the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies, and only once a year, with blood, with trembling. The veil separated the people from God's presence. But at the cross, the veil was torn from top to bottom (Matt 27:51) — God tore it, not man. Now, in Christ, every believer has bold, confident, immediate access to the Father. No priestly intermediary, no appointed day, no ritual preparation — just faith in Christ's finished work. This is one of the most extraordinary privileges of the Grace Age: the God of the universe invites us to come to Him with boldness.

Application: Read Hebrews 10:19-22 (written to Jewish background believers, now applying the same principle). Notice the 'new and living way' through Christ's flesh (the veil). Then read Ephesians 2:18 — 'through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.' What has changed between the Old Covenant veil and the Grace Age? Write out what 'coming boldly' to God looks like in your daily prayer life.

Prayer: Father, we come to You — not with trembling fear but with the boldness Christ's blood has purchased. We have access to the throne of grace at any moment, in any condition. Draw us to come, and come often, and come with confidence. Amen.
