Sealed by the Holy Spirit – Ephesians 1:13 | KJV Right Division

Week 1 · Day 6-4 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

— Ephesians 1:13 KJV

At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit seals every believer. Immediately. Permanently. Unconditionally. You were sealed when you believed — not when you became good enough, not when you were baptized, not when you spoke in tongues.

✂ Right Division

A seal in the ancient world indicated ownership, authenticity, and security. God's seal on you declares: this one is Mine, this one is genuine, this one is secure. Romans 8:38-39 — nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

✦ Application

You are sealed. Permanently. Unconditionally. The Holy Spirit Himself is God's guarantee that you belong to Him. Rest in the security of that seal today — especially if doubt has been knocking at your door.

1 Matthew 13:10–11 KJV And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 2 John 14:29 KJV And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 3 Isaiah 46:9–10 KJV Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there...

Dead to the Law – Married to the Risen Christ | Romans 7:4 KJV

Week 2 · Day 12-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead.” — Romans 7:4 KJV Death breaks the Law's hold. A widow is freed from the law of her husband by his death. Paul applies the same principle: we died with Christ — Galatians 2:20 — and that death severed our legal relationship to the Law. We are no longer married to the Law. We are married to the risen Christ. ✂ Right Division The purpose of this new marriage: that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Not the fruit of legal compliance under threat of condemnation, but the fruit of a loving relationship with the risen Christ. The Spirit produces this fruit naturally — Galatians 5:22-23. ✦ Application You are not married to the Law. You are united to the risen Christ. Let that relationship produce fruit in your life — naturally, freely, joyfu...
