Seated in Heavenly Places – Ephesians 2:6 | KJV Right Division
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
— Ephesians 2:6 KJVPast tense — hath raised us up, made us sit. This is your present reality. Not a future hope, not a goal to achieve — a present position. You are, right now, seated with Christ in heavenly places. In God's sight, your position is as secure as Christ's own position at the Father's right hand.
Israel's hope is earthly — land, throne, Jerusalem. The Church's position is heavenly — blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3), citizenship in heaven (Philippians 3:20), life hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). This is the dispensational distinction of the Body of Christ.
You are not striving to get to heaven — you are already positioned there in Christ. Live today from a heavenly position rather than an earthly perspective. Let your seated position determine how you face your standing circumstances.
