Spirit Baptism Into the Body – 1 Corinthians 12:13 | KJV
“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJVHow did you enter the Body of Christ? By one Spirit — all believers — baptized into one body. This is the defining moment of your entrance into the Church. Universal, immediate at salvation, permanent. This is not a second experience you seek — it happened when you believed.
Spirit baptism is distinct from water baptism and from speaking in tongues. It is the act of the Holy Spirit placing every believer into the Body of Christ at the moment of faith. Ephesians 4:5 — one baptism. The Spirit baptism into the one Body.
You are in the Body of Christ — not because of any experience or ritual, but because the Spirit placed you there when you believed. That is settled, certain, and gloriously permanent. Rest in it.
