The Law of Christ – Bearing One Another's Burdens | Galatians 6:2 KJV

Week 2 · Day 13-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”

— Galatians 6:2 KJV

Paul refers to the law of Christ — distinct from the 613 commandments of Sinai. The law of Christ is not a religious code to perform — it is the principle of love expressed in bearing one another's burdens. John 13:34 — love one another as I have loved you.

✂ Right Division

The Mosaic Law said love your neighbor as yourself. The law of Christ says love as Christ loved — self-sacrificially, unconditionally, to the point of death. A higher standard — met only by the Spirit working through us, not by human effort under religious pressure.

✦ Application

Bear someone's burden today. That is the law of Christ in action — not rules to perform, but love to express. Who around you is carrying something heavy? Lift it with them. Let grace flow through you into their life.
