The Mystery Revealed to Paul – Hidden for Ages | Ephesians 3:1-6 KJV

Week 3 · Day 15-2 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.”

— Ephesians 3:5 KJV

Three staggering words define this passage: mystery, hidden, revealed. Not hinted at in the Old Testament. Not partially disclosed. Completely hidden — then fully revealed through Paul. The mystery is that Gentiles are now fellow heirs, of the same body, partakers of the promise in Christ.

✂ Right Division

The Old Testament prophets saw Israel's King coming and returning. They could not see the parenthesis between — this age of grace, the Body of Christ, the mystery. God specifically chose Paul — the former persecutor — as the revealer of this breathtaking secret.

✦ Application

You are living in the mystery. You are a fellow heir — not a second-class citizen grafted into Israel's program, but a full heir in the Body of Christ. That identity is worth meditating on every single day.
