Why So Many Denominations? The Failure to Rightly Divide | KJV

Thousands of denominations, one Bible. How? Because for centuries, believers have applied to the Church what God said to Israel, and applied to Israel what God revealed to Paul. The result is a mixture that confuses everyone and satisfies no one.

✂ Right Division

Right division is not the cause of division — it is the cure for it. When every believer recognizes that Paul's epistles (Romans through Philemon) are the Church's operating instructions for this age of grace, doctrinal confusion dissolves.

✦ Application

Choose one of Paul's epistles this week — Ephesians or Colossians — and read it as your direct address from God for this age. Notice how clearly it speaks when you read it as intended.

A widow is freed from the law of her husband by his death. Paul applies the same principle: we died with Christ — Galatians 2:20 — and that death severed our legal relationship to the Law.
