Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:


흠정역

어떤 일도 다툼이나 헛된 영광을 통해 하지 말고 오직 겸손한 생각으로 각각 자기보다 남을 더 낫게 여기며 각 사람이 자기 일들만 돌아보지 말고 각 사람이 남의 일들도 돌아보라. 너희 안에 이 생각을 품을지니 그것은 곧 그리스도 예수님 안에도 있던 생각이라.


The mind of Christ is not selfish ambition dressed in religious language. It is lowliness of mind, care for others, and freedom from vainglory.


✂ Right Division


Philippians speaks to the practical walk of believers in the Body of Christ. Doctrine is meant to form a mind in us: not rivalry, but the mind that was also in Christ Jesus.


✦ Application


Look outward today. Not only on your own things, but also on the things of others. The mind of Christ makes room for another person.
