Perfectly Joined Together – 1 Corinthians 1:10 | KJV

Week 4 · Day 26-4 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

KJV

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Corinth had gifts, speech, and knowledge, but also division. Paul points them back to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and calls them to be joined together.

✂ Right Division

The correction is Pauline and practical for the Body of Christ. Carnality divides around men, preferences, and pride. Sound doctrine brings the saints back to Christ and to one another.

✦ Application

Refuse unnecessary division. Speak from the same foundation: Christ crucified, risen, and preached according to the revelation given for this present dispensation.

1 Corinthians 1 · Unity · Same Mind · KJV · 흠정역 · Paul

1 Matthew 13:10–11 KJV And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 2 John 14:29 KJV And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 3 Isaiah 46:9–10 KJV Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there...

Dead to the Law – Married to the Risen Christ | Romans 7:4 KJV

Week 2 · Day 12-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead.” — Romans 7:4 KJV Death breaks the Law's hold. A widow is freed from the law of her husband by his death. Paul applies the same principle: we died with Christ — Galatians 2:20 — and that death severed our legal relationship to the Law. We are no longer married to the Law. We are married to the risen Christ. ✂ Right Division The purpose of this new marriage: that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Not the fruit of legal compliance under threat of condemnation, but the fruit of a loving relationship with the risen Christ. The Spirit produces this fruit naturally — Galatians 5:22-23. ✦ Application You are not married to the Law. You are united to the risen Christ. Let that relationship produce fruit in your life — naturally, freely, joyfu...
