And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.


흠정역

너희는 이 세상에 동화되지 말고 오직 너희 생각을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 받으실 만하며 완전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 입증하도록 하라.


The world presses from the outside. The Word renews from the inside. Transformation in the believer is not produced by copying religious behavior, but by the renewing of the mind through God's truth.


✂ Right Division


Romans 12 follows Romans 1-11. The instruction comes after the riches of justification, reconciliation, identification, and mercy have been revealed. Grace establishes the believer first, then teaches the believer how to walk.


✦ Application


Do not let the world set the pattern of your thoughts. Let Scripture reshape what you value, what you pursue, and how you discern the will of God.
