Set Your Affection Above – Colossians 3:1-2 | KJV

 Week 4 · Day 22-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV 

   KJV If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 흠정역 그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 일어났거든 위에 있는 그것들을 추구하라. 거기에는 그리스도께서 하나님 오른편에 앉아 계시느니라. 위에 있는 것들에 너희의 애착을 두고 땅에 있는 것들에 두지 말라.  

 The believer's life begins with a risen position. Paul does not say, "Try to rise." He says, "If ye then be risen with Christ." The command flows from identity. Because Christ is seated above, our affection is to be set above. 

 ✂ Right Division  

 This is Body of Christ truth. Our hope, blessing, and position are heavenly in Christ. We are not trying to earn an earthly standing before God. We are learning to walk according to what God has already made us in the risen Christ. 

 ✦ Application  

 Let your mind return today to where Christ sits. Earthly pressure is real, but it is not your center. Your affection belongs above, where your life is hid with Christ in God.

Dead to the Law – Married to the Risen Christ | Romans 7:4 KJV

Week 2 · Day 12-1 · 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead.” — Romans 7:4 KJV Death breaks the Law's hold.
